About Us

Cut the Cable TV is your place on the web to read about how to cut the cable and ditch the dish in favor of watching TV over the Internet.

We are Mark and Julie.  Both kiwi’s (New Zealanders) who adopted Oz (Australia) as a second home.  We currently live and work in Atlanta, GA, USA with our 2 children and 1 cat.

Mark is the techno wiz.  Always reading up about new computer developments and hanging on Steve Job’s every word.  I on the other hand just want to watch reliable, easy to find and most importantly affordable TV.

We cancelled our paid TV subscription in May 2009 and thought we would try without it.  Now that we have worked out a good solution for us, we thought it would be great to share it with others.
